Well for those of you that are aware of it, here are the photo's, and for those of you who aren't aware of it...here are the photos! I went in for shoulder surgery on Feb 20th which was just about 2 weeks ago. These photo's were taken a week after the surgery. They made 3 incisions, and performed keyhole surgery to chisel away a bit of the end of my collar bone, and also clean out the AC joint, they basically scraped away all the gristle and crap that was in there.
The hop is that the shoulder will rotate better without as much friction, therefore causing less discomfort, and preventing my shoulder sounding like rice crispies when I reach for things. I think they've done a pretty good job with regard to the incisions, they're quite neat, and tidy! The bruising makes me look a bit like an oompa loompa, but apart from that it seems to be healing well! I'll know in another 4 weeks if this surgery worked. If it didn't, then I will need to go back for a bigger surgery which will basically reconstruct my shoulder. That will take up to 16 weeks to recover from...let's hope it's fixed this time!

A pasty white frankenstein...that's what comes to mind. Here's hoping that you're fixed - let me rephrase that - that your SHOULDER is fixed (cause goodness knows they aren't miracle workers!)
And here I was thinking that you'd come off yer bike and put a tree branch thru yer arm! Noice one mate :)
